Mendicity 200: An Exhibition to mark 200 years of the Mendicity Institution and it’s involvement in historical events and periods since it’s establishment in 1818. The exhibition will focus on topics such as the conditions in the Mendicity in the nineteenth century, the Famine, Irish emigration and the Institution’s involvement in 1916, amongst other things.
