Working with Mendicity

Workshop
The Mendicity Workshop is a social enterprise that offers employment to people experiencing homelessness and addiction. The purpose of the Mendicity Workshop is to offer employment and a route out of homelessness to its participants, while generating funds to support Mendicity’s core services.
Our workshop is a Community Employment programme, offered in partnership with ARC (Addiction Response Crumlin). To apply, email workshop@mendicity.org. Applicants must meet qualifying criteria, and applications are subject to qualification by the Department of Social Protection.

Volunteer
For over 200 years, Mendicity has been supporting those in homelessness and poverty. Since the organisation’s establishment we have relied on the help of volunteers. Our team of dedicated volunteers work alongside staff to deliver vital services to those who are homeless, particularly in our evening and weekend service. All our volunteers are Garda Vetted, and come from a variety of backgrounds, bringing diverse skills to the service.
To apply or learn more about getting involved email kate@mendicity.org
